Theatre course - Oscar Wilde

Audio and stage acting course in The Hague! Weekly sessions from February until June. Trial sessions on February 4th and 11th. Final shows on June 14th!

Join us for weekly 2-hour rehearsals, where we bring to life this witty and elegant play about politics, power and corruption - by one of the most famous playwrights of the 19th century. This 15-week course will cover two terms — in the first term, we’ll analyse the characters, experiment with acting techniques and then record the play as a professional-level audio drama — while in the second term, we’ll prepare the play for a live theatre performance, so that you have the opportunity to enjoy both audio and live stage experiences. So join us every Wednesday night, where the experienced professional actor and director, Sarah Blake, will guide you through rehearsals and teach you the professional acting techniques that will help your performance to shine!

Pandora Studio presents: ‘An Ideal Husband’ by Oscar Wilde

Sir Robert Chiltern is a rising star in government, who has built his reputation as an honest, anti-fraud politician… but when the mysterious Mrs Cheveley arrives from Vienna with a scandalous secret to tell, Sir Robert soon finds himself embroiled in blackmail! Combining sparkling dialogue with complex ethics and big emotional journeys, this is Oscar Wilde’s most intriguing play… one that offers participants a chance to perform in some truly memorable roles.
