Join our international Gospel Choir in The Hague!
Do you love music that’s full of energy and soul? Join our new gospel choir every Wednesday from 19 until 21 and experience the joy of singing together! Gospel music is not like any other: it’s lively, powerful, and brings people together in an exciting way.
Our choir is open to everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never sung in a choir before, your enthusiasm is what counts! Singing in a choir is about feeling the music and sharing it with others. When we sing together in harmony, it creates an amazing sense of unity and belonging.
We do two big performances per year, one in June and one in December. For this reason, we only open new spots in January and in August/September. Commitment (coming to rehearsals and being there on time) is very important in order to feel truly comfortable on stage and enjoy the experience!
We are not profit foundation with the goal of promoting the amateur art in The Hague. We are a safe space for all kinds of people. Please, take into account that we won't accept any kind of discrimination :)

Frequent Questions…
Is it necessary to have choral experience? Choral experience is not required! Some singers have a degree in music and for others this is their first musical experience :)
Do I need to know how to read music? Not really! We do not use music scores, you will get the lyrics and the recordings of each part in a google drive part that you can use to practice at home.
I don’t know which type of voice I have. No worries! Helianthe will guide you and make sure that you are in the right section :)
What happens if I miss a rehearsal? Nothing, as long as it is not too often! You will have all the necessary materials to practice at home if you missed a session. Keep in mind that it is mandatory to attend at least 70% of the rehearsals in order to participate in the concert and that your colleagues will miss you!!
Which kind of pieces do you sing? We sing a wide range of gospel music which is chosen based on the suggestions of the members of the choir.
Is it a religious choir? No. We're a non-religious choir that's open to everyone, regardless of faith or background. We come together to enjoy singing, make great music, and share the uplifting spirit of gospel.
In which language are the rehearsals? We rehearse in English.
Where do you rehearse? Our rehearsals are in Theater in De Steeg (Westeinde 165, 2512 GX, The Hague).
Share your talent with friends and family
We will organize two concerts each year: one at Christmas and another in the summer. These events are a wonderful opportunity to share our passion with friends, family, and other curious attendees. After the performance, we host a lunch, offering a chance to meet new people while enjoying food and drinks! Our choir is not professional, we are an amateur group who loves doing our best. Of course, participation is voluntary, and rest assured, no singers are harmed during the show!
