Biography:

During his performances, the young Thai pianist Aruth Masrangsan, winner of the 1st prize and Grand Prize of the Piano Island Competition, always demonstrated to possess a strong artistry of the widest range.  He started his musical education when he was 13 years old and took piano lessons occasionally until he integrated the Pre-College program of Mahidol University at the age of 15, where he was a student of Dr. Eri Nakagawa. He also took piano lessons from Prof. Rolf-Dieter Arens during this time. After this, Aruth was awarded a merit scholarship in 2017 and went onto studies at the prestigious Royal College of Music with Prof. Dina Parakhina. In September 2019, he became a student of Prof. Denys Proshayev at Koninklijk Conservatorium, the Hague and later also studied Fortepiano with Petra Somlai and Bart van Oart.
