Since its inception in 2014, they have worked with many household names such as Dirk Mommertz, Michel Strauss, Isabel Charissius, Lorenza Borrani, Heime Müller, Peter Nagy and Claire Désert and groups like the Vogler Quartet, Gryphon Trio and Cuarteto Casals. Trio Jakob is currently in training at NSKA — Netherlands String Quartet Academy — receiving lessons by its artistic leader Marc Danel and guest teachers such as Luc-Marie Aguera. They are also part of the ProQuartet academy, and they have taken part in the annual encounters of Jeunesses Musicales’ International Chamber Music Campus in Weikersheim, supported by a full scholarship of JMI-Deutschland.
